Superheroes in comic books were loads of fun when WE were kids. The artwork and writing were phenomenal. You could even grow your vocabulary reading them!
Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Dr. Strange and many more were read in the schoolyards. You could even subscribe via mail! Wow! Yes, wow!
As kids WE wondered how OUR superheroes would do on film.
WE found out when WE became adults.
Now WE wonder where are the new superheroes?
A movie with a female Thor is on the way.
WE have already seen a female Captain Marvel.
Where is the creativity? Is it so dead that superheroes are altered? Is this the easy way out? The lazy route?
Bring on the new superheroes!
