TRUMP BUS LINES

 President  Donald Trump held a rally in Omaha, Nebraska the night of October 27, 2020. It was a cold evening. 1000s attended. Many had been busted in. The event was at Omaha's Eppley Airfield.

Trump put on his usual show of MAGAness. He loves to brag about how good of a president he is. He downplays the Coronavirus and tossed in some racism here  and there. He's  like an aging rockstar on his All-Hits Tour. A crowd pleaser that gets the audience to sing along.

Trump left. Obviously pleased. Nice and warm flying on Air Force One.

Down below hundreds of  his loyal of supporters trembled in the freezing cold waiting for buses to ferry them to distant parking lots. 

The Trump supporters were out in the cold for 3 hours. Freezing temperatures.

Some walked to buses 3 miles away. 

AUNT LALI LOVED COLLECTING FROG RELATED ITEMS

 A few months ago WE found a green frog toy at the local convenience store.  I picked it up at the west side of the El Tigre store. 

OUR Aunt Eduarda collected frogs. Toys & anything frog was her secret passion. 

I had to pick it up!

Aunt Lali passed away in 2011.

WE miss her.

May she rest in peace.

BREAKFAST BOOM: SODA BLONDE

 A cold front came in as WE slept in the early morning darkness. It did not want to knock on the door to let US know it had arrived in OUR subtropical  Rio Grande Valley Of South Texas.

It was 57 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. Cold enough for Mission Texas! A nice walk down the little Dublin Ranch.

Breakfast Boom featured music from Ireland's SODA BLONDE!  The food was beans and potatoes with a cup of coffee.

The song for Breakfast Boom  was "Swimming Through The Night"! It is a Tremendo Tune!  Faye O'Rourke's voice is powerful, passionate and beautiful. It filled that cold kitchen with warmth. As WE turned towards the sink it seemed that Ms. O'Rourke was behind US singing! That's how Fenom her voice is!

The drums are Puro Wow! They serve as the first voice in the intro! Mucho Respeto for the drummer! The guitar and bass crush it! This is a Solid Band!

WE hope to see SODA BLONDE on tour once the world vanquishes the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Experts say Texas is headed for another surge! OUR governor cares more about the economy than the people of Texas!

Texas is number 1 in Covid-19 deaths in the USA and number 2 behind California in high number of Coronavirus infected.

FATHER BARRETT

 Father Barrett was an Irish priest at OUR Texas parish when WE were growing up. He was one of OUR heroes. His sermons were effective and inspiring.

He was a young priest when a pilot intentionally crashed his plane into the Virgen De San Juan Catholic Church in 1970.

There were 30 priests present. 200 school children were in the church cafeteria having lunch.

Only the pilot was killed.

Father Barrett passed away in 2014 at age 77.

WE fondly remember him.

He kicked off his run for the White House in 2015 by calling Mexicans " drug dealers and rapusts".  No one cared to organize nationwide protests against his bigotry. That gave him the keys to the White  House.

President  Trump has gone after Muslims, Asians, African-Americans, the LGBTQ Community, Central Anerican asylum seekers, military veterans, the press and anyone that dares to oppose him.

He has mishandled the Coronavirus Pabdemic. He uses racism, fear, lies and division as weapons. His base responds well to that.

OUR neighbors  next door are white retirees. They are decent folks. They have 2 son-in-laws.  One is African-American and the other is Mexican-American.

How can they vote for Trump?

They fell for his feel good slogan and tactics.

Trump is not a good man. His actions and words reveal his true nature.  He could not even condemn white supremacy! White Supremacists saw that as him supporting them.

N.O.A.H. SHINES

 WE are Huge Fans of Irish music. WE listened to Dublin, Ireland's Phantom 105.2 and then it's new name as TXFM when WE drove to work in the 4 a.m. hour. WE worked at OUR local newpaper"s customer service department.

The music was fresh and new. It was hungry and real. Top bad both stations went under.

Now WE roam the Internet searching for Irish bands and artists.  The name of the blog is Irlanda Linda...Beautiful  Ireland and WE live on the Dublin Ranch in Mission, Texas.

So let US talk about N O.A.H. which is a new Irish band.
